Blind Contour Still Life Drawing offers you the opportunity to engage in a fun and challenging drawing method where you draw with your eyes! What this means is that you are not allowed to look at your paper or lift your pencil off the paper while you draw. Each piece will be timed so you have to draw quickly before the object changes! Artist Viola Choy will frequently change to the still life compositions keep you in the drawing spirit!
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
Viola Choy loves sharing her passion for art with the world, having fallen in love with art and design as a small child. With a bachelor degree in Honours Regional & Urban Planning from University of Waterloo and a Diploma in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Vancouver, Viola spreads her passion and knowledge in art and design with those who show interests. Through Vancouver Draw Down, she hopes more people will be drawn to art so the circle of love can grow and continue.
Located on bustling Granville Island with access to the waterfront, False Creek Community Centre offers unique programming opportunities and events for all ages. Specialty programs and services include canoeing, kayaking, tennis, performing arts, licensed preschool and out of school care, and a well-equipped fitness centre.
