Bumblebees & Beyond: drawing our native bees

Join Vancouver artist Lori Weidenhammer for this hands-on workshop that takes a finer look at nature's hardest workers: bumblebees.

Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.

Lori Weidenhammer is a performance artist and bee nerd. She teaches folks about gardens and bees through community-based art and is a member of the Second Site Collective.

Located near 54th Avenue and Kerr Street, Champlain Heights Community Centre has a fitness centre, squash and racquetball courts, preschool, activity room, lounge, and a youth lounge.

The mission of the Champlain Heights Community Association is to provide equal access to quality leisure services for individuals residing in Champlain Heights. The Champlain Association is also the steward of Everett Crowley Park.
