Costume Design Illustration Arts Club Theatre Company
JUNE 14, 2014 10am – 2pm Arts Club Granville Island Stage, Rehearsal Hall | 1585 Johnston Street, Granville Island FREE | No registration required
Before costumes grace the stage, they are sketched on the page.
Come explore how to create the drape of velvet or the lightness of silk. Find new ways to sketch poses and represent the characters in a play. We'll explore how different drawing styles can distinguish different plays and the illustration techniques to help reveal these. This workshop includes a presentation of Sheila White’s catalogue of costume design work at the Arts Club.
This is a four-hour workshop. Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
