Collaborate to create the universe! Make planets/stars and celestial bodies using a diversity of drawing materials, then put on a blindfold and pin them up on the Ultimate Universe wall. Just like the real thing, it’s creative, unique and a little bit random! Make a difference in our unfolding universe!
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
I still remember the faint sketching noises as I sat in silence and complete awe – watching structures and buildings magically appear out of the pencil in my father’s hand. I will never forget what crossed my young mind that very moment, “...that’s going to be me one day…” Viola Choy’s love of art and design started at a young age, and today she is a practicing artist and interior designer. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Toronto and living in Vancouver, Olivia is inspired by travel and the natural world around her. She is a painter and sculptor, as well as an interior designer and teaches drawing and painting at community centres around Vancouver .
Situated in downtown Vancouver along the seawall and across from Stanley Park, Coal Harbour Community Centre has picturesque views of the Coal Harbour Marina and North Shore Mountains. We offer programs, services, and events for pre-school, children, youth, adults, and seniors. Built in 2000, the building features a Dance Studio, a full size gymnasium, and diverse multi-purpose rooms.
