The Vancouver Draw Down Online Daily Drawing Challenge is precisely that — a challenge from Vancouver Draw Down for you to draw every day. The seven-day Online Daily Drawing Challenge is designed to get your imagination and ink flowing in preparation of the 2014 Vancouver Draw Down free artist-led workshops on June 14.
From June 7 to 13, the Online Drawing Challenge instructions will be announced each day on this webpage, on Facebook, and on Twitter. Here's how to participate in the Online Daily Drawing Challenge:
1. Find the daily instructions. Find the daily drawing challenges below, or on the Vancouver Draw Down Facebook and Twitter pages. Choose between the 'Just For Fun' instructions (five-minute drawings) or 'Challenge' instructions (15-minute drawings).
2. Get your pens and papers ready. Use whatever drawing tools you'd like, unless otherwise instructed in the challenge. Don't use erasers or rules.
3. Get drawing! Be creative and, above all, have fun! Don't worry about making mistakes, and stick to the time limit.
4. Share! Inspire fellow Vancouverites to make their mark by sharing your drawings online. Post photos or scans of drawings to the Vancouver Draw Down Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Don't forget to tag your photos: @VanDrawDown#DrawDown #DailyDrawing. Or email photos of your drawings to Vancouver Draw Down. We'll share them online for you.
