Come down to Ray Cam Community Centre and explore your unconscious! With the use of felt markers let yourself explore your good dreams, bad dreams or your day dreams! Choose one aspect of your drawing and be part of a large scale "Collective Unconscious Collage." When the dreams of many people come together, what does it look like?!
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
Calla Power is a local visual artist working in various mediums such as drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture. She has facilitated several visual art workshops at community centres throughout Vancouver since 2010. Calla encourages self-expression and focuses on process rather than final result. She is currently studying to be an Expressive Arts Therapist at Langara College.
Ray-Cam is a neighbourhood centre for recreation and social activities for all ages. It provides personal and family support services, and offers out of school, pre-school and day-care programs for children. The centre has a gym, drop-in lounge, and multipurpose rooms and is a place where friends meet. Programs at Ray-Cam are available to members only. You must live near Ray-Cam to be a member. Membership is free.
