Join artist Thomas Anfield to create gesture drawings of aerial dancers as they dance in the air, suspended from the giant crane on the Roundhouse turntable!
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.

Thomas Anfield is an artist based in Vancouver. As a visual artist Thomas has been part of numerous international solo and group exhibitions in Canada, Mexico, United States and Africa including the National Gallery of Senegal.
Kira Schaffer is the artistic director of Firebelly Performance Society, a performance troupe specializing in theatre and dance involving aerials, fire performance and stilt walking. Kira shares her passion for movement and hanging upside down by regularly teaching aerial dance classes at the Roundhouse.
Located in Yaletown, The Roundhouse is the Vancouver Park Board’s only dedicated arts & culture community centre. It houses an art studio, a pottery studio, a wood- working shop, a 175 seat black box theatre and a 2500 square feet exhibition space.
It is also the home of Engine 374, the locomotive that pulled the first passenger train across Canada from coast to coast.
