Vancouver Art Gallery, 750 Hornby Street, Vancouver BC FREE with Gallery Admission ($7-$22.40) Be inspired by the extraordinary work of Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin and more! Learn about the distinctive drawing techniques they used, and try them out for yourself with a range of unusual drawing tools. Activities include sketching from life, drawing portraits and drawing outside (weather permitting). This grouping of fun and inclusive drawing workshops is held alongside the Vancouver Art Gallery summer show Collecting Matisse and the Modern Masters: the Cone Sisters of Baltimore.
In the run up to this event, the Vancouver Art Gallery Making Place activities on May 13th and 27th will focus on exploring drawing. Click here to learn more about Making Places.
