See opera through the eyes of a visual artist! As part of our Culture Days programming, Vancouver Opera offers our community that opportunity to participate in a fairy tale themed drawing exercise as part of The Big Draw! From stage diagrams to costume sketches, drawing plays a large role in the conception and production of everything Vancouver Opera puts on the stage. Learn more about our upcoming production of Hansel and Gretel by participating in a community drawing activity with visual artist Shannon Leddy. Other events include performances from singers in the Yulanda M. Faris Young Artist Program and full tours of the rehearsal space.
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
The O’Brian Centre for Vancouver Opera is the main rehearsal and administrative space for Vancouver Opera.
