Ann Lin is a visual artist, pianist, and photographer. She enjoys discovering beauty in small things that stimulate different parts of the sensory system: the smell of rain, the warmth of a puppy, the color of fog... As a result, she has always been drawn to creating inter-sensory art works. Ann also finds inspiration in quantum physics, philosophy, and poetry.
Nestled at the north end of Oak Park at 59 Avenue and Oak Street with views south to the Fraser River, Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre was founded in 1949 and now serves two neighbourhoods of diverse populations and ages. English and Chinese are the predominant languages with a wide assortment of programs and services available through the centre.
