Get inspired with a 45-minute guided walking tour!
1:15 – 2:00 and 2:30 – 3:15

Working with artist Shirley Wiebe, explore the use of earth and plant based materials such as pigments from berries and vegetables, charcoal, graphite, and a simple wood burning ‘pen’. Inspired by memory, history or nature, participants will create images or patterns on thin plywood tiles and take away take their own personal icon.

Coinciding guided walking tours invite people to engage with nature and history, and to observe the symbols from both natural and commemorative sources, such as text and carvings. How has memory been translated into timeless forms?
