We can't see them without a microscope because they are so tiny, but they are in the air, on our skin, in our bodies, in the ground, and all throughout nature. Discover the germs that can be harmful to our bodies and how we can prevent the spread of germs through proper handwashing techniques. Learn about the germs that live all around us and draw your own with soap bubbles ! Hand washing has been recognized by science as one of the most important things we can do to reduce the spread of disease! So LATHER up and be GERM SMART!
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
Sharon Leung is a local Vancouver artist with a background in health sciences, education and the arts. With over 10 years of experience practicing in these areas, Sharon is a celebrated artist with the heart of her art practice in drawing. Her whimsical art has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout British Columbia. Her practice ranges from illustrating children’s books, mural/ceiling art to other multi-disciplinary mediums.
