Shape Jam: Northwest Coast Art Renfrew Park Community Centre

Participants will join in a group activity where native northwest shapes are explained and experienced through drawing. The end project will be a collaborative mural displayed at the community centre.
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.

Jolene Andrew is a member of Indigenous Artists United, which engages all levels and ages of artists in First Nations, Northwest Coast forms of art and design, including weaving, painting, designing and study of forms and shapes of the Northwest Coast.
Renfrew Park Community Centre offers a variety of programs and services for all ages. The community centre features a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool, games area, and multipurpose spaces for socials, meetings, and community events. Four summer playground programs (some with wading pools) are offered at nearby parks.
