Upon an earth coloured ground, participants are facilitated in classical portraiture, one at a time, face to face across the table with legendary portraitist, Mr. Fire-Man, using red paint with brushes. Fresh works are hung about the property in anticipation of Class #2: The Black Paint Drawing Club, wherein the second layer of the classical technique, is applied. Class #3, The White Paint Drawing Club, completes the cycle of the classical method and leads to the opening celebration and show of our artworks.
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
Mr. Fire-Man invites community to explore the craft of building musical instruments from local wood. All-ages workshops, gatherings, and events will include: Tool-making; Sustainably harvest local wood from Cottonwood Garden; Wood-curing, Horn-making; Playing and musical improvisation, with assistance from the Legion of Flying Monkeys Horn Orchestra
