JUNE 14, 2014 11am – 3pm Seawall under Cambie Street Bridge | South side seawall at Spyglass Place FREE | No registration required
Hughes Condon Marler Architects and Industrial Brand would like you to stop and see Vancouver in a "hole" new way! Meet us on the south seawall under the Cambie Bridge (near Spyglass Place) and gain a fresh perspective of our city’s skyline.
We’ve set up temporary construction hoarding – the type you see all over Vancouver – but this time you’ll be able to see what’s happening on the other side. Step right up, pick a spot to drill your hole, have a look through and draw the skyline 'blind.' Open your eyes, open your mind – but keep looking at your view through the hole – not at your hand as it sketches onto the front of the hoarding. At the end of the workshop the hoarding will be decorated with peep holes and each participant’s own voyeuristic view of Vancouver.
Participants of all ages and experience are welcome.
